Look who came into my office....

I was running to go grab ice for our party at the office, when I heard the jingling of bells... I silently thought... "Is Santa here?" and suprise suprise!! In walked Santa!! He even had a district ID badge on... I snapped a picture of him, and went on my way to get the ice. After I returned, there was no Santa in sight! I asked everyone, where did Santa go?? They all laughed and thought I was crazy... Luckily I had a picture to share and proof I wasn't insane... Guess Santa went into the wrong building... He meant to go next door. What a cute Santa he was though :)

Gingerbread Men (and girls)

We decorated Gingerbread Men... It was so much fun!! I love my mom.... She had been telling my kids all day that when I got home from work we would decorate them. They were so excited when I walked in the door. Kelson made all of his men, santa's helpers... and Ken made her's all girls that were "so nice and so cute" Brayden made one and was back to watching his game on t.v. We started to build a Gingerbread house but ran out of icing (licked the bowl a little much?)

A Picture Suprise

My cute friend Chuck E. Cheese sent me this picture on my phone today.... Kenley went on a field trip to the DMV, yesterday, with her.... Thanks Cheese!!!

How Embarrassing!!!

Oh boy... I have had my moments, but this one was pretty bad....

So yesterday, I went to pick up Brayden from school. I was running 10 minutes late since I was coming from work. (Extra playtime for Brayden on the school grounds) When I pulled up, Bug was standing there with a huge scowl on his face. As he was getting in the car, I asked him what was up? He told me about the argument he had with his buddy, and it turned into a couple of slaps and kicks and ended with buddy taking off with Bug's backpack!! Grrrrrr!! We decided to go in and have a talk with Mrs. Martz (awesome principal)

Brayden (Bug) told her what happened, word for word, but was nervous and was picking his nose as he spoke.... I whispered, "quit pickin your nose" and he yelps out, "mom you pick your nose all the time! I get it from you!" uuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmm ya... Mrs. Martz smiled and I blushed a couple shades of red...

Mrs. Martz called this morning to report she spoke to both boys, who have made up and are buddies again, and the backpack spent the night in the bushes. She told me this all while I was picking my nose ;) Happy Friday!!

Happy 6th Birthday Kelson

Oh my little monkey boy, Kelson, turns 6 tomorrow. He is having his first "friend" birthday party this year. He is so excited!! Kelson... You came into our lives on December 5, 2003, a couple days shy of your due date, December 8th. I was sick during my pregnancy and on bed rest for the last two months. I remember it was a Wednesday night, and they started me into labor around 6 pm that night. Not even an hour later you made your debut... You were my smallest baby weighing in at 6 lbs 13 oz and 18 inches long. You were so tiny and had the most beautiful face. You were the best baby... already slept through the night, and only woke to eat and fall right back to sleep. While you slept you made the cutest noises, like a little baby monkey laughing and chirping. The nurses in the nursery said you were so much fun to listen to. Kelson... you are my little man, who appears shy and timid at first, and then bursts open into a happy "loud" ball of energy. You bring me such joy and happiness... You truly are my son,
Kel's Son.
Happy Birthday
and many more...

YAY!! It's not Ringworm Folks!!

After taking Kelson to 3 different doctors, with no improvement to his eye or legs, I finally got a referral to go see a Dermatologist. Brian Williams was way awesome! He knows Kelson's condition is not Ringworm. Oh...... Aside Kelson's eye and legs, he broke out from the K-flex antibiotic!! He is allergic!! He broke out from head to toe in this horrible rash that went from red welts to big scabby looking bumps. (they really itched) Anyways... Dr. Williams thinks Kelson has really sensitive skin and has Dermatitis. (also allergic to something) So he told me to throw away all the other creams and medicines we were using before and try this anti-inflamatory cream. Oh wow!! After just one day, the bumps have almost vanished and his eye has never looked better!! The patches on his leg still needs a little help. (they looked really sad) Thank you Dr. Chapman for your concern and efforts, and thank you for referring us to Dr. Williams. Kelson really liked him... He made him giggle and me smile... Kelson's birthday is this Saturday... 6 years old!!

Dr. Kelson

Last night Kelson pointed out to me that there was a thorn that was stuck in the palm of his hand. It looked all red and puffy and looked like it was 'in there' real good.... He freaked out, when I pulled out the tweezers, and took off under the bed. So I told him he can do it himself!! ROAR! SO what'd ya know?? After 45 minutes, Dr. Kelson, performed surgery on his own hand and got that thorn out!! Way to GO!! I didn't even have to hold him down and torture the poor boy to get that old thorn out...
Another funny story that has nothing to do with thorns or tweezers.... Emery, my sister, went and picked up Kelson from kindergarten the other day. She needed to run to the store and had wrote a list of things she needed to get. Kelson wanted a list as well. So together they came up with "Kelson's Shopping List" it goes like this:

cookies
milk
chips
cheetos
dorritos
mac 'n' cheese
bocoli
salad
Go gurt
lunchables
caprisuns
chicken
gravy
Hamburgers with no pickles

I think Kelsy was a little hungry....?? It's always a bad idea to go to the store when you are hungry.... ha ha Thanks for taking care of my little man, Auntie Em!!

We are Family....

My stick figure family in the back window of my car....

My Artist's

Kenley drew this picture in primary this last Sunday. She was so excited to give it to me.... She said, "It's you and me, mommy... see we have the same color of hair!"
This next picture was done by Brayden... he told me that this is the kind of car that I should buy...

Kelson drew this back in June of this year. He said it was him riding a horse... I think it actually looks like him when he wakes up in the morning (mad crazy hair)

I love Bird Houses

I love love LOVE birdhouses... I collect and decorate with them. When I built my first house, my husband, at the time, had said, "why didn't we just build a great big bird house to live in?" HA! Cute idea.... anyone who knows me, knows how much I love birdhouses!! I found this clip that I found pretty cute... Enjoy

Ohhhhhh What happened to your eye??

Kelson's eye started to break out on the Thursday before Halloween. I thought maybe he had an allergic reaction to the color spray paint that we put in his hair. So I took him to the doctor (urgent care) and the doctor thought it also looked like an allergic reaction. So she recommended a light cortizome cream. She also said if it had gotten worse (from the first picture) to take him to see his regular pediatrician. And boy! did it get worse!! The pictures are not really in order but you can tell from a little bad, to way way way bad!!! We went to see our pediatrician and he thinks it's Ring Worm!! Ring WORM!?? oh my!! so now he's on an antibiotic 3x a day and a cream that I have to put on his eye 3x a day... then we have to go back in a week to see if it's helping... Man oh man!! I feel so bad!! It looks awful... I hope it clears up!! My poor little man!

Love you Kelson....

Happy 5th Birthday Ken Doll

Happy Birthday to my sweet!! You came into this world 5 years ago, on a Monday evening, November 8th, 2004. You were born at St. Mark's Hospital at 5:16 pm. Weighing 7 lbs 11 oz and 20 inches long. You had a ton of hair which suprised me because your older brothers were bald, bald, bald!! You were delivered by Dr. Alisa Carlton (love her) and Aunt Emery and Granma mamma was there to see you come into the world. Aunt Emmy cut your cord. We were all happy to see how healthy and beautiful you were! Even with the little pit (or dent) that was on the bridge of your nose. (Beauty Mark for life) I love you Kenny! You bring me such joy and happiness!! You ooze with love and affection and you light up our lives... Keep on shining! Happy Birthday and many more.....
