Dr. Kelson

Last night Kelson pointed out to me that there was a thorn that was stuck in the palm of his hand. It looked all red and puffy and looked like it was 'in there' real good.... He freaked out, when I pulled out the tweezers, and took off under the bed. So I told him he can do it himself!! ROAR! SO what'd ya know?? After 45 minutes, Dr. Kelson, performed surgery on his own hand and got that thorn out!! Way to GO!! I didn't even have to hold him down and torture the poor boy to get that old thorn out...
Another funny story that has nothing to do with thorns or tweezers.... Emery, my sister, went and picked up Kelson from kindergarten the other day. She needed to run to the store and had wrote a list of things she needed to get. Kelson wanted a list as well. So together they came up with "Kelson's Shopping List" it goes like this:

cookies
milk
chips
cheetos
dorritos
mac 'n' cheese
bocoli
salad
Go gurt
lunchables
caprisuns
chicken
gravy
Hamburgers with no pickles

I think Kelsy was a little hungry....?? It's always a bad idea to go to the store when you are hungry.... ha ha Thanks for taking care of my little man, Auntie Em!!

We are Family....

My stick figure family in the back window of my car....

My Artist's

Kenley drew this picture in primary this last Sunday. She was so excited to give it to me.... She said, "It's you and me, mommy... see we have the same color of hair!"
This next picture was done by Brayden... he told me that this is the kind of car that I should buy...

Kelson drew this back in June of this year. He said it was him riding a horse... I think it actually looks like him when he wakes up in the morning (mad crazy hair)

I love Bird Houses

I love love LOVE birdhouses... I collect and decorate with them. When I built my first house, my husband, at the time, had said, "why didn't we just build a great big bird house to live in?" HA! Cute idea.... anyone who knows me, knows how much I love birdhouses!! I found this clip that I found pretty cute... Enjoy

Ohhhhhh What happened to your eye??

Kelson's eye started to break out on the Thursday before Halloween. I thought maybe he had an allergic reaction to the color spray paint that we put in his hair. So I took him to the doctor (urgent care) and the doctor thought it also looked like an allergic reaction. So she recommended a light cortizome cream. She also said if it had gotten worse (from the first picture) to take him to see his regular pediatrician. And boy! did it get worse!! The pictures are not really in order but you can tell from a little bad, to way way way bad!!! We went to see our pediatrician and he thinks it's Ring Worm!! Ring WORM!?? oh my!! so now he's on an antibiotic 3x a day and a cream that I have to put on his eye 3x a day... then we have to go back in a week to see if it's helping... Man oh man!! I feel so bad!! It looks awful... I hope it clears up!! My poor little man!

Love you Kelson....

Happy 5th Birthday Ken Doll

Happy Birthday to my sweet!! You came into this world 5 years ago, on a Monday evening, November 8th, 2004. You were born at St. Mark's Hospital at 5:16 pm. Weighing 7 lbs 11 oz and 20 inches long. You had a ton of hair which suprised me because your older brothers were bald, bald, bald!! You were delivered by Dr. Alisa Carlton (love her) and Aunt Emery and Granma mamma was there to see you come into the world. Aunt Emmy cut your cord. We were all happy to see how healthy and beautiful you were! Even with the little pit (or dent) that was on the bridge of your nose. (Beauty Mark for life) I love you Kenny! You bring me such joy and happiness!! You ooze with love and affection and you light up our lives... Keep on shining! Happy Birthday and many more.....

Halloween, Birthday, and Swine Flu... oh my!!

Happy Birthday to my sweet Brayden who turned 11 on the 1st of November... This year he got the H1N1 virus (swine flu) my poor boy!! He missed his last football game of the season... He wasn't supposed to go Trick-or-Treating (but went to a couple houses with a mouth mask) and we had to cancel his birthday party unitl he is well enough to have one.... This next Sunday on Kenley's birthday.... I shouldn't post this pic because it is so sad... Brayden was one sick boy! His temperature was at 103.6!! Luckily he was able to get the miracle prescription Tamiflu which worked wonders!! He started feeling well on Sunday night, and is back to school today!! (tues 11/3) This was not a very fun weekend, for it will always be the year to remember...

Happy Halloween!!
