Brayden's Hero

This is EC.... He was the star running back for Cottownwood High school that brought them 13-0 wins up to play in the State Championships where they had been un-defeated... (2009) Brayden loves this guy... Brayden has the privalige of working with Cottonwood's, last years Quarterback, Steve, on perfecting his already perfect spiral.... They work for two hours every Saturday and Brayden loves every minute of it... After getting EC's autograph and a quick picture, I told him that Brayden has looked up to him for the last 3 years,

and even wrote a school report on him.

He was suprised and smiled from ear to ear...

Worm Moon

It's time for that monthly report on the full moon for the month of March... It is called the

Worm moon... Wanna know why it's called the worm moon? Go to my archives and look for "Howling at the Moon" in January 2010... There are some links for some great sites on Night sky gazing!! This has been a fun activity for me an my kids studying the phases of the moon...

OH BOY!! My little baby boy, who is now 11, but still my baby, is becoming a young man... He has reached the age for the dreaded 'Maturation Program' at school... After class, I asked him if he had any questions?? He replied with big blank eyes..... "Uhhhhhh... that was a little disturbing... I think I am good on not knowing anything else...."

Of course being the Awesome MOM that I am, I had to embarrass my boy and take pictures of this landmark in his life...

New Colors

I got my Hair did by "Daisy"... Good bye bleach... Hello Dark!! I love it... you can love your new hair too... If you want Daisy to do your hair, let me know... I'll get you her number. Her prices are un-beatable and she will come to you, all in the comforts of your home... Can't beat that!!

It's here again...

The start of a new season of Baseball.... Brayden had drafts on Saturday, in which he did AWESOME!!! He nailed pitching tryouts... batting... catching... and even scratching ;)

We were called Sunday night by the coach we were praying for... Siggins!! WoOP!! Last night was the first practice. It only lasted a half hour because of the rain... We are so excited for this year's season! We are going to ROCK!!

What a beautiful day yesterday was!! We had Spring Fever... and so did a lot of other people... We went to the Murray Park to play... Kelson and his buddy, Evan, made new friends and played for hours... Brayden and his buddy, Tayden, played baseball.... and Kenny and her buddy, Brady, had so much fun spinning on the spinners.... Happy Spring!! We welcome you...

The report from the District

Yesterday, I got a call from Brayden's School Principal..... Uh-Oh! Again!!?? After telling Brayden he'd better not take his little pocket knife to school.... What did he do??? Yep! you got it... He took it to school... At recess, his little friend (partner in crime) pulled out his own knife that he brought to school as well... Except his was big, and Brayden's was little... Some argument broke out, and Brayden went and told the teacher that his partner in crime brought a huge knife to school... Guess what happened?? His little friend told on Brayden as well...

The parents were called... the cops were called... Brayden and his little friend have been suspended for two days, two years on probation with the district, and this has been filed with the police who took the knives and filed a report...

Juvenile record in 5th grade!!

Should have listened to Momma!! Tears were shed, and so were the sorries.... and now I have free child labor for the next two days!! woop!!
