Soccor Babies!!

Finally!!! After waiting for two or more weeks, Kelson and Kenley got to go meet their new coach and get their uniforms!! They were so excited, as most kids were, it was funny to see all these little kids stripping down, right on the field, to suit up in in their long awaited uniforms. We are on the same team with our little buddy, Evan, and another friend from Kelson's kindergarten class, and another friend from church. Kelson and Kenley have never played the acutal game of soccor, but it will be fun to watch them.... YaY for my soccor babies!!!

What a significant date! Not only does the date look good in marketing promotions, but it also represents the last set of repeating, single-digit dates that we'll see for almost a century (until January 1, 2101), or a millennium (mark your calendars for January 1, 3001), depending on how you want to count it.
Though technically there's nothing special about the symmetrical date, some concerned with the history and meaning of numbers ascribe powerful significance to 09/09/09. For cultures in which the number nine is lucky, Sept. 9 is anticipated - while others might see the date as an ominous warning.

Speaking of dates..... Brayden and I went on a date after school yesterday. We shared silly moments, and stories, and a big yummy shake!! Here's a couple pictures to share of our date!!

First Day of Kindergarten!!

The day has finally arrived.... Kelson got to go to Brayden's school... Kindergarten!! He couldn't have been more excited!! After getting up everyday, dressed and ready to go, he finally really go to go on Monday the 31 st of August.

Kelson has had a wonderful first week of school, and tells me what he does every minute of the day. He wasn't going to let me get any pictures of him in class, but since there were other moms' taking pictures, he let me get a couple. What a guy!! So grown up!! I love you Kelson!!

I am still trying to figure out how to do this blog... Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! ha ha maybe I'm the only one who is really looking at it...
I figured out how to put up a background and all, but that took a minute to figure out... Owell... I'll just keep plugging along until I figure it all out, or meet a fellow blogger who knows all the tricks!! Happy blogging...

First Day of 5th Grade

YaY!!! It's the first day of school for Brayden... 5th grade!! and Kelson starts kindergarten in a week. My babies are all growing so fast!! Brayden was up at 5:30 am this morning, all dressed and ready to go... I guess someone was excited to go to school?? Poor Kelson doesn't start Kindergarten until next Monday, so he was so heartbroken that he wasn't going with Brayden today... I couldn't help but take a couple pictures of his heartache upon his face...... Your time will come soon my little guy...

There's only one Lagoon

WOW!! I haven't been to Lagoon in almost 7 years and it's amazing how much has changed!! This trip I took my kids... We took Brayden back when he was little, and this time we took all three. What fun we had!! I had so much fun watching my kid's faces light up and jump up and down with excitement for the rides they had just been on... The first ride we went on was the terror ride. My two youngest were so excited, they didn't know what they were in for. I waited outside the exit to catch their first expressions... Oh and was it a bitter sweet thing to see their expressions... They both had big tears and this horrified look on their faces... I caught it on my camera, but will have to load that up later when I figure out how to work my camera. I laughed but felt really bad at the same time. The day couldn't have gone more better. We were with our good friends Dez and AJ and their son and little brother. Thanks to them, we got in at a great price, and had so so so much fun!! Thanks Martin family!! Well, enough said... There's only one Lagoon... for me that means there's only one day I can take of Lagoon... Untill next year, or the years after......

Pineview

So this last Saturday, August 8, 2009, we were invited to go to Pineview. It was so much fun!! It started out cold and a little windy, but as the day went on the clouds broke away and Mr. Sunshine came out to play. We went up with my dear friend Erin, and her kids. We were invited for dinner at her friend's camp site in the Anderson Camp ground... Too bad we didn't have our tent, it would have been fun to stay the night. So we are going to try and go camping overnight this coming weekend... Good times!!
